Qinhuangdao Baigong Steel Co., Ltd(referred as "Baigong Steel" for short hereafter) is wholly owned by Tangshan Universal Industrial Development Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB100.00 million, among which RMB3.8 billion is fixed assets. It covers an area of 1800mu. Baigong steel was planned, constructed, completed from June, 2005 to February, 2007, from when it begin the official operation and production. It has been certified by the management systems, including quality, environmental-protection, energy, measurement and occupational safety.
Baigong Steel project was constructed, for the first phase, the design production capacity is 3 million tons and the construction project include 2 units of 1080m3 blast furnace, 2 units of 180m2 sintering machines, 2 units of 20000m3/h oxygen generators, 3 units of 60t converters, 2 production lines of coal injection, 1 set of 25MW self-equipped electrical equipment for coal gas recycling and 2 assembling infrastructure and 1 set of 110kv substation. At the same time, the infrastructure and engine equipment have been equipped completely with the main equipment and production lines.
